SEAPort finalist of the FIWARE ZONE IoT Challenge

18 September 2020

The proposal presented by SEAPort and Envirosuite to the FIWARE ZONE IoT Challenge organised by the  Andalusian Government and Telefónica has been chosen for the final phase. Both entities propose to deploy a technological platform for the diagnosis and prediction of the environmental impact as a response to the challenge posed by the Port Authority of the Bay of Algeciras (APBA), entity selected as a sponsor of the 2020 edition.

The challenge aims to find innovative technological solutions that help APBA to obtain data in real time regarding environmental parameters (quality of air and water and noise, light and odour pollution), as well as to identify incidents and problems associated with the port logistics.
